All India Cell Biology Conference & Symposium on "Stem Cells and Pattern Formation" (Pune, India)
Agharkar Research Institute (ARI; www.aripune.org), an autonomous institution of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, is organizing the XXXII All India Annual Cell Biology Conference from 4th to 6th December 2008 at Pune. India .
The Indian Society of Cell Biology (ISCB; www.iscb.org.in) is a very active academic society and has over 700 life and ordinary members. A number of renowned cell biologists from India and abroad will review their work in the Pune meeting (please see list of speakers). Active researchers will have an opportunity to present their work as posters. ISCB has instituted awards for presentations by students (see below). The Twelfth Prof. S.P. Ray-Chaudhuri 75th Birthday Endowment Lecture will also be delivered during the meeting.
We look forward to active participation of ISCB members in the meeting. Non-members are welcome to participate after becoming members. We sincerely hope that students and young faculty in India and elsewhere will take advantage of this event.
